Before You Apply to Be a Volunteer
- Verify your membership is current at members.aaps.org. Membership is required for all AAPS volunteer positions.
- Update your profile at members.aaps.org/myaccount to include:
- Full contact information, including mobile phone, ethnicity, and gender (My Profile tab).
- An AAPS Community (My Communities tab) - you must be a member of at least one AAPS Community to volunteer for any role in AAPS.
- Current Work Environment and the stage of the Drug Development Process in which you work (My Interests tab).
AAPS members may only serve on one standing committee at any given time. Members may volunteer for Community Leader roles and short-term service (e.g., Conference Buddy, Visiting Scientist, etc.) at any time regardless of other roles held. Contact membership@aaps.org with questions about this policy.
Current committee members who wish to be considered for vice chair must complete an application.

Current AAPS Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Use of AAPS Name and Marks Agreement
This is only to be completed by volunteers who are currently serving on the AAPS Board of Directors, a committee, or a community.
If you are applying to be a new volunteer (above), do not complete this form.

- Step 2: Update your profile at members.aaps.org/myaccount to include:
- Full contact information, including mobile phone, ethnicity, and gender (My Profile tab).
- An AAPS Community (My Communities tab). You must be a member of at least one AAPS Community to volunteer for any role in AAPS.
- Current Work Environment and the stage of the Drug Development Process in which you work (My Interests tab).
